• The Fraxel re:pair laser is different from conventional CO2 lasers in that it reduces the risks and problem areas typically associated with conventional CO2 lasers, including less downtime, redness, swelling, and a lower risk for scarring and delayed onset permanent hypopigmentation, even for treatment of delicate tissue areas on and off the face
• Using Fractional Deep Dermal Ablation (FDDATM) and Fractional MicroDermAblation (FMDATM) treatment for tissue contraction, tightening and collagen remodeling, the Fraxel re:pair treatment removes and eliminates aged and damaged skin without the prolonged downtime and adverse reactions associated with conventional bulk ablative resurfacing lasers (also known as CO2 or erbium YAG lasers).
• The Fraxel re:pair laser delivers FMDA treatments for superficial photodamage, including pigmentation, fine lines, texture and vascular dyscromia, while the system’s FDDA treatment addresses more severe rhytids and furrows.
